THE GUT/MICROBIOME/IMMUNE SYSTEM
“It’s Everton soup” (there’s ev’rtin in it).
Did Mam know (or have a gut instinct) that eating a wide variety of food is a great way to feed/boost our immune system?
Over the years, I’d picked up useful info. about The Gut and it's importance, but this 19-minute interview
with Professor Tim Spector, Geneticist/Epidemiologist on Irish Radio early last year was an eye opener…
e.g. the health benefits of coffee beans, or grapes (red wine variety 😊)
and (at 5.20) WHY counting calories is "rubbish" , (at 6.30) Fermented foods, and (at 13.50) Lactose & Gluten intolerances
That 19 minute audio clip is here:

Since then, we’ve learned a lot more, including from experience, and we’ll share more under this heading shortly.
Even Gut experts have expressed surprise by regular new findings about the importance of Gut Health,
and its role in our Immune System.
Here’s an 11 min. video of the same Professor, with food tips & hacks he uses daily to max Gut Health…

WHAT DOES MOST DAMAGE TO THE GUT?
1.Antibiotics
2. Radioctivity treatments for Cancer, Thyroid, Breast Check etc.
3. Chemical ('chemo') treatment/medicines/drugs vs. Natural (see Natural in Best)
HOW TO COUNTERACT?
1. Start Probiotics at start of Antiobiotic 'dose'.
And Natural Prebiotics to feed good gut bacteria - saurkraut, kimchi, aloe vera etc.
Seek advice from Qualified Heathfood Store staff, Natural Healthcare Practitioners etc.
2. Avoid - usually unnecessary, can be done by Ultrasound (see Natural Is Best, first video in Cancer Story Pt. 2)
3. See Cancer Cures, and Natural is Best re own healing ability
